We have been learning all about Fire Safety this week.
On Thursday, the Banks County Fire Department came and visited.
We learned about fire trucks and what they do.
And we listened to firefighters tell us about smoke detectors, stay low and go, how to call if there is a fire, and the importance of having a plan in case of fires.
Adan was chosen to help demonstrate how to:STOP!
DROP!
And ROLL!These are all important steps to know if you were on fire.
We also got to see a firefighter in all his gear. We heard the strange noise the air tank makes too.The firefighters told us that they are our friends. We should not hide or be scared of them.
